Application Form

To apply for the Aspiring Professionals Programme you must:

  • Be currently in Year 12
  • Have at least 5 A grades at GCSE
  • Be predicted at least ABB in my A-level studies
  • Live in London/within a commutable distance to London

You must also meet one of the following additional criteria:

  • I was, or am currently, eligible for Free School Meals (household income less than £16,190). This will have to be confirmed by a teacher.
    OR
  • I will be the first generation in my family to attend university in the UK AND I attend, or previously attended for GCSE, one of the following schools:

    • The state schools in the list above all have a higher percentage of students known to be eligible for Free School Meals than the London average of 18.9% (DfE, January 2011). Students who attend, or previously attended for GCSE, any of these schools are eligible to apply for the Aspiring Professionals Programme as long as they will be the first generation in their family to attend university in the UK (i.e. their parents/grandparents did not go to university).
