What can the SMF offer me?

The Social Mobility Foundation runs a series of interconnected supports which are designed to assist sixth form students with their applications to University and their decisions about careers.

If you are accepted on to the Aspiring Professionals Programme (APP) in Year 12/lower sixth, you will be given the opportunity to be mentored for one year by a professional in your chosen career sector. You will gain access to workshops on a range of topics including leadership, communication and interview skills, and university application advice. You will be alerted of many exciting opportunities, receive regular email bulletins and will have access to support and advice from the SMF team. You will also be considered for summer internships in the career area of your choice and be supported with further skills events whist at university.

Please see our Careers Sectors page for details of the career areas in which we offer mentors and activities.
