Shamima, City and Islington College

March 2, 2009

A round of applause to the Social Mobility Foundation! I’ve been privileged to get this amazing opportunity. If it wasn’t for the SMF I probably would have gone into Law thinking it’s a breeze.

The work experience, talks and workshops have really changed my perception of Law and how I see myself in the future. The barristers I was appointed to made sure I experienced life as a barrister to the full extent. I went to different courts and read endless paperwork on cases.

They were so welcoming and made sure that I got the most out of my experience giving me endless tasks and taking me to court etc which I was really grateful for.

Shamima was an intern at 29 Bedford Row Chambers in 2008.
