Location: SMF London office
Contract Type: 12 months fixed term with extension subject to performance and funding
Hours: Full time (37.5 hours)
Reporting line: Chief Executive of Social Mobility Foundation or their designee, with dotted line to Chairman
Salary scale: £23,500 – £32,000 (subject to level of relevant experience) + £2,000 London weighting
Benefits: 25 days annual leave with bonus annual leave days between Christmas and New Year; 5% employer pension contribution; employer subscription to Perkbox.
Later this year the Social Mobility Foundation will launch a new advocacy arm to mobilise a coalition of the willing – including employers, communities, charities, councils, schools, colleges and universities – to take action within their spheres of influence to improve social mobility. It will collect information on what works, keep social mobility in the mind of the public and connect people, places and organisations so they can take effective actions to help the UK become more mobile and more fair. This is a newly created post and the successful candidate will work closely with the Research and Advocacy Coordinator and the Chair/Chief Executive on the launch of this new initiative.
