ASPIRING PROFESSIONALS PROGRAMME
We undertake research to make sure we're making a difference to the young people we work with, and to improve our programmes.
Your data will make a big contribution to us being able to provide a great programme for students like you in the future.
The information described below will be used to compare outcomes for our participants, on average, with outcomes for similar people that were not on our programme. Your data will be treated with the strictest confidence, in accordance with the Data Protection Act. We will never use your name or any other personal details in any report arising from the research. This means that the information will be anonymised.
Anonymised information from your application to our Aspiring Professionals Programme (ethnic group, parents' occupation and eligibility criteria for SMF) will be linked with some publicly available key information about your future education and employment. This includes academic attainment, university attendance and completion, work status and salary band. This information will be taken from publicly available sources: the National Pupil Database (held by the Department for Education), Student Record and Destination of Leavers from Higher Education Survey (both held by Higher Education Statistics Agency HESA).
