The Social Mobility Foundation opened applications for its 2014 programmes on Saturday 23rd November, having added two new residential programmes for students interested in accountancy and engineering. For more information about our different programmes, please click here. Applications are now open and will close at 9am on Monday 27th January 2014.

Greg Banner has once again completed a gruelling psychical challenge in aid of the SMF. Last year, Greg completed the Vancouver to Whistler GranFondo, a 122km bike race in 4hrs 25 mins and this year he has completed Canada’s Iron Man Challenge in just over 12 hours!

The summer of 2013 was very busy for the young people on our flagship Aspiring Professionals Programme. As Aimee Welch, Programme Coordinator writes, the students have been offered a wealth of opportunities from undertaking prestigious internships, to visiting top universities across the country and even meeting the Prime Minister.
