APP Freshfields is a new programme for students who aspire to become lawyers or work in business, and want to know what it is really like to work for a multinational law firm. We have partnered with Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP to provide you with an insight into your chosen career.
This programme will offer you a one-week virtual internship with work shadowing during Year 12 (England and Wales), S5 (Scotland) and Year 13 (Northern Ireland), which may include a one-day visit (travel expenses paid) to the Freshfields office in London or Salford (subject to government guidance). Alongside this, you will receive mentoring by a professional at Freshfields, and a wide range of online skills sessions and university application support during your final two years of school or college. A number of students will also be selected to take part in a paid residential internship in Year 13 (England and Wales), S6 (Scotland) and Year 14 (Northern Ireland).
You will also have opportunities to engage with Freshfields during your first year of university, through graduate recruitment workshops and application support to vacation schemes.
Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP is one of the largest and most prestigious multinational law firms in the world – so you’ll be sure to receive the best advice from your colleagues during the internship.
