Health Education EnglandCOL

We work with Health Education England to deliver an intensive one week programme allowing you to gain a greater understanding of medicine as both a degree and a career. On last year’s residential students spent one week at the teaching centre of James Cook University Hospital, a renowned teaching hospital in Middlesbrough. Students made use of the high-tech educational equipment of the hospital’s teaching centre during clinical skill sessions, witnessed live video links to operating theatres, attended medical lectures, and had the opportunity to meet over 50 consultants, doctors, and GPs involved in the programme. If you live in England (excluding London boroughs) and aspire to become a doctor this opportunity is the ideal way to take that first step towards a career in medicine.
